

Susanna Glattly was born and raised in Washington D.C. and has lived in Beaufort, South Carolina since 2006. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in English Literature and is a self-trained artist and decorative painter who has worked in theater, on opera sets, and participated in conservation projects in museums, embassies and historical buildings, including the US Capitol and the Justice Department. She has worked as a scenic artist on over 60 major motion picture and television shows. Her museum sets have been featured in Architectural Digest Magazine and her large murals have been featured in restaurants, private homes, and movies and TV shows. In 2020, she returned to USCB to pursue a degree in studio art, and it was there she rekindled her love of drawing and began working on her Super/Natural series.
